This is produced from white silk cocoons. We offer delicate range of taffeta silk available in following widths 44”, 54”, 60”, 108”. The taffeta silk is used for both furnishing & garments. It is one of the oldest luxury fabrics, which used to be woven in the early part of the century by the Persians. The current type of taffeta silk is a fine, smooth and a firmly woven fabric with very fine crosswise ribs. It looks same from both sides and has almost same number of yarns in both directions. The fabric may be soft or stiff, and light to medium in weight. This texture of the fabric varies from one country to another country. It is offered in plain, crossing colors, stripes, checks, jacquards, printed & embroidery silks.
